JANUARY 2006
Dear Friends of Missions,
Greetings in the wonderful name of Jesus!
As we began a new year, we look back over 2005 and count our blessings. We have had a blessed year here in Belize with our churches. We have had around 40 to receive the Holy Ghost in 2005 and baptized around 30 in the wonderful name of Jesus.
CHRISTIAN ACADEMY & BIBLE SCHOOL
We have been working on the Christian Academy and Bible School this year as the Lord has provided the means and we are getting very close to finishing it. We were able to start our Christian school this year. If the children of our churches even get to attend school, they are subjected to false doctrine and are required to attend functions that we stand against. The teachers and leaders of the schools have ridiculed our children in front of their classes about doctrine and our standard of dress. One of our girls was spanked for standing up against other students concerning the oneness of the Godhead. Our children will no longer be counting beads or saying pagan prayers. They are learning the doctrine of truth as they are educated. Oh, what a difference an Apostolic School makes. We have seen a revival with our youth. We have fifty students and all but ten have the Holy Ghost and have been baptized in Jesus Name.
NOTE: We are searching for someone who is familiar with the A.C.E. program that would be interested in coming to Belize for a period of time and help run our school. This would include training our people to work in the school. If anyone is interested, we ask that you have the permission and approval of your pastor. Ideally, a married couple would be good, but not necessary.
FAMILY CAMP
Our family camp was a great success this year. All who attended left enriched and empowered by the preaching and by the anointing of the Holy Ghost that fell on the services. Many times we never got past the prayer service when the Holy Ghost would fall and with saints of God weeping, people would begin to receive the Holy Ghost. (Zion travailing) A big thanks goes to Pastor James Townley, Rev. Darien Hosch, Rev. Roger Herrington and Rev Sammy Friou for making our meeting a success. We were honored to have them with us.
